Competitions and resources

If you want to develop your engineering skills, check out some of these engineering competitions and activities.

Closing Date: 1 December 2021

The Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering (QEPrize) is the world’s most prestigious engineering accolade, celebrating bold, groundbreaking engineering innovation that is of global benefit to humanity.

The Create the Trophy competition gives you the opportunity to get involved and celebrate the engineers who transform our lives. Around the world, budding designers aged 14-24 are invited to create an iconic trophy that captures the essence, creativity, and wonder of engineering for presentation to the QEPrize winners.

To create a trophy design, download the QEPrize 3D Design Studio app, which is available on both iOS and Android, and submit your design via the app. The competition closes at 23.59pm (UTC) on 1 December, and the winner will be announced alongside the winners of the 2022 QEPrize on 1 February 2022.

The winning trophy designer will receive a state-of-the-art laptop, and will be invited to the QEPrize award ceremony in London next year.
